The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson is proud to welcome Annsley as the newest member of our legal team. As our firm continues to grow, bringing on experienced and compassionate professionals like Annsley strengthens our ability to serve clients throughout St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, and the greater Tampa Bay area.
A Strong Foundation in Client Advocacy
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Annsley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She later obtained her Post-Baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate from the University of South Florida, further strengthening her ability to support clients with diligence, organization, and attention to detail.
With nearly 20 years of experience as a private adoption case manager, Annsley has worked closely with expectant parents, birth parents, and adoptive families during some of the most important and emotional moments of their lives. This background gives her a unique ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations with care, professionalism, and empathy.
A Commitment to Families and Community
Annsley’s dedication to advocacy extends beyond her professional experience. She currently serves as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem in Pinellas County, advocating in court for children who otherwise would not have a voice. She is also a Girl Scout troop leader, mentoring young girls and contributing to the strength of our local community.
Her personal journey reflects that same commitment. After becoming a mother, Annsley stepped into a full-time parenting role while continuing to give back as a foster parent alongside her husband. Together, they provided respite care to eleven infants and ultimately adopted one of the children they cared for. Today, they are proud parents of two.
Serving the Tampa Bay Community
As a Tampa Bay resident, Annsley and her family enjoy exploring local restaurants, parks, and museums and are active supporters of the Tampa Bay Rays. Her strong connection to the community aligns with our firm’s mission to serve and support the people of this region both inside and outside the courtroom.
