At The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, we believe in honoring the heroes who continue to make an impact long after their military service ends. This month, we are proud to spotlight Marine Veteran Kyle Robison, a leader whose story reflects perseverance, dedication, and a deep commitment to supporting others.
Kyle joined the United States Marine Corps in 2010 at age twenty-three. Motivated by a desire to continue his education, build a meaningful career, and challenge himself, he served five years as a Signals Intelligence Specialist. His time included a deployment with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and service at Camp Pendleton. His excellence earned him the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal in February 2015.
While transitioning into military life came naturally to Kyle, the return to civilian life was far more difficult. He often reflects on how challenging it can be to leave the structure, purpose, and camaraderie of the military. The shift to civilian careers brought its own set of hurdles, including differences in work ethic, recognition, and expectations. Still, he credits the Marine Corps with preparing him through discipline, adaptability, and the confidence to push forward in unfamiliar environments.
Programs like TAP, along with the support of fellow veterans, helped Kyle find his footing. Today, he continues to pay that support forward. He volunteers with Mission 22, Stop Soldier Suicide, and Objective Zero, serves on the Board of the Warrior Wellness Program, and co-founded the Veterans Roundtable with the Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce.
His advocacy often centers on helping veterans understand and navigate the complexities of the VA system. He stresses the importance of documentation, planning, and working with a VA-accredited attorney, emphasizing that many veterans do not realize the burden of proof rests on them.
While Kyle holds many accomplishments, he is most proud of the Marines he served alongside. He still celebrates their achievements and values the lifelong bonds they share. Outside of service, his greatest joy is raising his young son, who he calls his greatest purpose.
Today, Kyle serves as an Enterprise Account Executive at Uniti Fiber, where he helps organizations design effective connectivity solutions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of South Alabama, a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is pursuing his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. His academic work aligns with his mission to support veterans through improved access to mental health resources.
Kyle’s involvement with the Warrior Wellness Program reflects his passion for service beyond the uniform. The nonprofit provides alternative therapy services and community support for military members, veterans, and their families, helping them navigate challenges long after their time in service.
The Warrior Wellness Program recently held its Veterans Day celebration at Sasha’s at the Hacienda Hotel in New Port Richey, a meaningful event honoring veterans and their families. While the event has passed, its purpose reflects Kyle’s dedication to creating safe, supportive spaces for those who have served.
Marine Veteran Kyle Robison is a shining example of leadership rooted in purpose. His journey reminds us that service continues well beyond the uniform, and our community is stronger because of people like him.
