We proudly announce that our law firm ambassador, Michael Durkin, has been voted onto the Grand Central District board. Michael actively participates in board meetings and volunteers at events like St. Pete Pride and the Economic Vitality committee.

The Grand Central District, established in 2000 just west of downtown St. Petersburg, is a vibrant community with over 450 locally owned businesses. It is celebrated for its diversity and inclusion, boasting colorful murals, outdoor dining, and a supportive environment for LGBTQ+ and ally businesses. The district is a cultural hub, hosting major events like Pride in Grand Central and Halloween on Central.

At the Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, our mission emphasizes law, governance, and justice. We encourage active community engagement among our team, believing that together, we can create meaningful change. Michael Durkin’s involvement with the Grand Central District board exemplifies this mission, demonstrating our commitment to serving the community.  Since he has now been voted onto the Grand Central District board, he will be able to serve his community and exercise his leadership in a much greater capacity.
