February Business Education Network Workshop Recap
Our February Business Education Network Workshop brought together business leaders, nonprofit professionals, and community advocates from across St. Petersburg for an afternoon centered on connection and growth. We are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the energy and momentum in the room.
The Business Education Network Workshop was created with a simple but powerful goal: to provide a consistent space where professionals can build relationships, exchange ideas, and strengthen their businesses while contributing to a more informed local economy. February’s workshop reflected exactly that mission.
Recognizing Our February Speakers
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the leaders who shared their time and presence with us:
Doug Jackson, Founding and Managing Attorney at The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson
Meredith Pericles, Founder and Executive Director of Do Good and Shine Brightly Foundation
Maggie Brazill, Sales and Marketing Associate at the Princess Martha
Latorra Bowles, Executive Director of Deuces Live
Each of these professionals represents a different pillar of the St. Petersburg community, from legal leadership to nonprofit impact, hospitality, and cultural development. Their participation demonstrates how collaboration across industries strengthens the broader business landscape.
Events like the Business Education Network Workshop thrive because of leaders who are willing to engage, connect, and support other professionals in meaningful ways. We are thankful for their involvement and continued commitment to community engagement.
Why This Workshop Matters
Networking alone is not enough. Business owners and professionals need spaces that combine relationship building with real business development opportunities. The Business Education Network Workshop is intentionally structured to foster both.
When professionals gather with purpose, the results are tangible. Attendees consistently leave with new connections, fresh ideas, and practical insight they can implement immediately. More importantly, they leave feeling supported by a community that understands the challenges and opportunities of operating in St. Petersburg’s evolving market.
At The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, we believe that education and collaboration create long term impact. When local leaders invest in one another, the entire community benefits. A stronger business environment leads to greater opportunity, innovation, and sustainability across industries.
