Douglas G. Jackson’s Legal Team

You probably already know about our founding attorney, Douglas G. Jackson, but it’s time you get to know his legal team.  While Doug may be the face of the firm, these amazing members of his team are the brains and muscle.

Stacey D. Bechtel, Case Manager

Stacey Bechtel has been with the Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson since 2019. As Case Manager, Stacey assists in all aspects of case development. She works with firm team members and staff attorneys to ensure that all evidence is obtained, and deadlines are met. She works with clients to provide information and answer questions because she knows the legal process can often be difficult to navigate.  We strongly believe that communication with our clients is what sets us apart from other law firms.

Stacey has a Bachelor of Science degree from Cook College, Rutgers University.

Stacey is a Florida Registered Paralegal and Member of the Florida Bar.

Michael T. Durkin, Legal Investigator & Interim Legal Secretary

Michael T. Durkin, Jr. is the Legal Investigator for the Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, PA.  Mr. Durkin started with the Firm on January 13, 2020, as the Legal Secretary and quickly advanced to Legal Investigator.

Born in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Mike made his way to St. Petersburg, FL where he has proudly been raising his son, Liam Michael.  He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of South Florida, where he was part of the Ferry Farm VA Archeological dig team, following in the footsteps of his hero, Dr. Henry Jones, Jr.  (Indiana Jones). When he is not working on cases for the firm, he can be found adventuring with his son and his dog, a Shiba Inu named Dexter, kayaking, rock climbing, reading comic books, or following Philly sports; most notably the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies, and Sixers, which just coincidentally happens to be every Philadelphia sports team.

Sebastian Delgado, Legal Assistant

Sebastian Delgado is an outstanding Student and the University of Central Florida.  His goal is to attend law school, become an attorney, and ascend to become a Federal Level Judge.  Not short of ambition, Sebastian does not desire just any level of Federal Judge; Sebastian’s goal is nothing short of becoming the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.

Sebastian works remotely as a legal assistant for the law firm.  He assists with any of the firms needs including research, drafting, and even writing articles and scripts for the firm’s website, social media, and videos.
