The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson welcomes Pamela Watt as its new Legal Intern for the Summer of 2022. Ms. Watt is a very welcome addition to the team. She is enrolled at Stetson University College of Law with an expected graduation date of May 2023 and has completed both the Veterans Advocacy Clinic and the Advanced Veterans Advocacy Clinic. Pamela has also previously worked as a Congressional Aide for the United States House of Representatives and as a clerk with other law firms. This means she will bring substantial experience to her Legal Internship position with the firm.
The Legal Internship is a brand new program to this firm. The intern will take part in a rigorous, self-paced educational curriculum, while simultaneously learning through hands-on-work experience gained through real work on actual cases. The internship program is designed to coincide with the semester schedule of most college calendars, which will make it pair well for students.
The firm is proud to offer Pamela Watt the opportunity to pave the way and set the model for future interns who will follow in her footsteps. We are excited to see how she helps to shape this internship program for the future.
In addition to this Legal Intern, which is designed for those specifically enrolled in law school, the firm also began its Legal Assistant Internship program, for those who want to enhance their skills to make them more competitive as non-attorney support staff in a law firm.
