Highlights from Last Week’s Business Education Network Workshop

Coming Together to Learn and Grow

Last week, The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson proudly hosted another Business Education Network (BEN) Workshop at Black Leaf. These workshops are designed to provide entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals with the tools, strategies, and connections they need to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

A Lineup of Inspiring Speakers

We were fortunate to welcome three incredible speakers who shared their unique perspectives and expertise:

  • Hani Bakir offered powerful insights into how local businesses can take lessons from the franchise world to build sustainable growth.

  • Gabi Mondejar shared her expertise on the evolving role of influencers, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at how businesses can use authentic voices to connect with audiences.

  • Roger Curlin energized the room with his talk on using inspiration and storytelling to strengthen community and drive profits.

Each speaker brought not only wisdom but also a contagious passion for building businesses that are resilient, innovative, and community-minded.

Networking That Builds Community

One of the hallmarks of the BEN Workshop is the networking component, and last week’s event was no exception. Attendees connected with new faces, exchanged ideas, and built relationships that we know will extend beyond the room. We believe that business is stronger when rooted in collaboration, and this workshop proved it yet again.

Looking Ahead

We are grateful to everyone who attended, participated, and supported this event. The positive feedback has been overwhelming, and we are excited to continue building momentum for future workshops.

Register now for our next BEN Workshop, and if you haven’t joined us yet, we hope you will soon — it’s the perfect place to learn, connect, and grow. Business Education Network Workshop – Oct- 16-2025 – The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson
