Drawing on more than 33 years of experience in the banking industry, Roy will discuss what lenders look for, how businesses can strengthen their financial profiles, and why strong relationships matter in today’s financial landscape.
About Roy Binger
Roy Binger is a seasoned financial services professional who currently supports Florida businesses through his work at Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU). He chose to join LMCU because of its philosophy of treating members like neighbors, an approach that aligns closely with his relationship-driven values.
In addition to his role at LMCU, Roy serves as Chair of the Board for the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, a position he assumed in 2026. He is deeply committed to strengthening the business community through collaboration, education, and strategic leadership.
Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami with an emphasis in finance. He is also the owner of Binger Insurance Services and remains highly engaged in civic leadership, serving on numerous boards throughout the Tampa Bay region.
His leadership and impact have been widely recognized, including being named Tampa Bay Business Innovator of the Year and induction into the Florida Business Hall of Fame.
