The Business Education Network (BEN) Workshop is officially back, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our business community together again.
Hosted by The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, the BEN Workshop was created to give business owners, leaders, and decision-makers something more than a traditional seminar. Each session is designed to deliver practical insights, meaningful conversation, and real tools attendees can take back to their businesses and apply immediately.
We’re starting this new season with a speaker whose message aligns perfectly with that mission.
Meet Our First Presenter: Adam Peters
Our first BEN Workshop presenter of the year is Adam S. Peters, Founder and Chief Happiness Ambassador of Mind Map Renovations LLC and author of The Blueprint to Happy.
Adam helps individuals, teams, and organizations build positive, sustainable workplace cultures by teaching how the brain actually forms habits, assumptions, and emotional responses. His work is grounded in neuroscience and focuses on helping people recognize and replace negativity bias — the brain’s natural tendency to fixate on problems — with a conscious preference for positivity.
This isn’t about “toxic positivity.” Adam’s approach is practical, honest, and deeply human. By understanding how stress and pressure affect decision-making and communication, leaders can reduce burnout, improve collaboration, and create healthier environments where people can truly thrive.
Workshop Topic
From Friction to Flow: Building a Positive Workplace Culture That Lasts
In this session, Adam will explore:
Why negativity bias exists and how it impacts teams
How small mindset shifts can dramatically improve communication and problem-solving
Practical tools leaders can use immediately to reduce stress-driven burnout
How to create a culture that supports performance, relationships, and well-being
Known for his engaging, down-to-earth style, Adam blends neuroscience, lived experience, and humor to make complex ideas approachable and actionable. Attendees can expect to leave with clarity, insight, and tools they can use both at work and in everyday life.
A Strong Start to the Year
The BEN Workshop is about more than education — it’s about connection, growth, and building stronger businesses together. We’re proud to kick off this season with a conversation that centers on leadership, culture, and the human side of business.
