The Business Education Network (BEN) Workshop is all about giving local businesses the tools, strategies, and inspiration they need to grow—and our August event is no exception. We’re thrilled to welcome Eric Putkonen, Founder & Lead Consultant of The AI Whisperers, as one of our featured speakers.
Eric’s love of technology started early. At just 12 years old, he was teaching himself BASIC programming on a Laser 128, an Apple II clone, by checking out programming books from the library. That curiosity grew into a career marked by innovation. For over 20 years, Eric earned a reputation as one of the most tech-savvy corporate recruiters in the field, streamlining his work with JavaScript bookmarklets, batch scripts, and countless browser extensions.
When ChatGPT launched in 2022, Eric immediately recognized its potential to transform everyday business operations. He immersed himself in AI prompt engineering and mastered workflow automation tools like Zapier, Make.com, and N8N. Through The AI Whisperers, he now helps small businesses replace manual busywork with AI-driven systems that work 24/7—capturing leads, engaging customers, and streamlining operations.
At our August BEN Workshop, Eric will present “Unlocking AI’s Potential: Better Prompts, Better Results”—a high-impact 15-minute session packed with actionable advice. Attendees will walk away with:
Strategies for writing more effective AI prompts.
Insights into integrating AI with automation tools for real business growth.
Inspiration to move AI from novelty to necessity in their operations.
