Celebrating Angie Hales: Two Years of Excellence at The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson

At The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, we believe that our strength lies in the dedication and expertise of our team—and Angie Hales embodies exactly that. This week, we’re thrilled to celebrate Angie’s 2-year anniversary with us, recognizing her outstanding contributions as a paralegal and her unwavering commitment to our clients and the community.

A Passion for Service and Advocacy

Angie’s journey with the firm began in 2023, after she earned her A.S. in Paralegal Studies from Hillsborough Community College, where she also earned a Real Estate Paralegal College Credit Certificate. During her internship at our firm, it was clear that her dedication and drive would be invaluable assets. She quickly advanced to a full-time role, managing the firm’s probate caseload with precision and care.

But Angie’s role extends far beyond case files. Her passion lies in serving those who’ve served our country. She works closely with veterans, helping them navigate the complexities of the VA benefits process to secure the support they rightfully deserve. Her commitment to justice, empathy for her clients, and relentless pursuit of results make her a standout professional in our legal community.

Leadership and Growth

Angie’s dedication to her profession is equally evident in her involvement with the Tampa Bay Paralegal Association (TBPA). She joined as a student member in 2022 and has since risen through the ranks, serving as Director in 2023, First Vice President in 2024, and NALA Affiliate Liaison in 2025. Her leadership reflects her commitment not only to personal growth but also to advancing the profession as a whole.

She also serves on the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Professionalism Committee as the TBPA representative and is a Florida Notary Public. Angie’s contributions extend to her participation in the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Wills for Heroes Pro Bono event, where she helps provide essential legal services to first responders.

A Life Beyond the Office

When she’s not making a difference in the legal world, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband and son at their home in Brandon, FL. Whether it’s tackling home projects on weekends or RV camping in Florida’s scenic spots on long weekends, Angie brings the same enthusiasm and heart to her personal life as she does to her profession.

Always Striving for Excellence

Angie is also a graduate of the National Society for Legal Technology, earning Legal Technology and eDiscovery Certificates that enhance her legal skill set. Her commitment to learning, leadership, and client advocacy truly sets her apart.

We’re incredibly proud to have Angie as part of our team. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for her clients make her an inspiration to us all.
