Lawrence “Trey” Dahl Esq.

Biography

Trey is from the Tampa Bay area and graduated International Baccalaureate at Land O’ Lakes High School.  He attended the University of South Florida (USF) and played collegiate baseball for the Bulls. He graduated magna cum laude from the USF Honors College.

After college, Trey attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables for law school.  He had a focus on public interest and even traveled abroad to research environmental law and policy.  He also served on law review and graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning Order of the Coif recognition.

After a year fixing an old boat and learning to sail, Trey became licensed to practice law in New York, and began his career as a lawyer for the Legal Aid Society in the Bronx, representing those in need.  His work with public interest immediately placed him in New York city courtrooms, advocating for various needs, but especially those who were being evicted from their homes.

Within a few years, Trey returned to Florida, decided to get married and plant roots in St. Petersburg.  He sat for the Florida Bar Examination, passed and became licensed to practice law in Florida, in addition to New York.  Upon becoming licensed in Florida, he worked as a Staff Attorney for Holland and Knight, working on a case docket that had approximately 40,000 plaintiffs in an industry-first mass arbitration.  Thereafter, he continued working for large law firms assisting with review of documents for discovery in complex federal investigations and civil litigation.

Trey is now an Associate Attorney at The Law Firm of Douglas G. Jackson, where he practices civil litigation, as well as other areas of law. He and his wife like to bike on the Pinellas Trail and spend time with their mini schnauzer Dino (who occasionally comes along for rides in a special backpack).
